Åsa M. Larsson
I initiated my somewhat excessive university studies at Uppsala University, Sweden, in 1993.
I majored in archaeology, with an additional degree in osteology (human and animal) from Stockholm University. I have also studied anthropology, history of religion, quarternary geology of Sweden, evolutionary biology, and experimental archaeology.

Over the years I have migrated around various excavations in the wake of major and minor construction works, in several regions of Sweden. Digging my way through Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age remains with equal enthusiasm (well, almost). I have also been fortunate enough to participate as a volunteer on excavations at a Celtic oppidum in Slovakia, Medieval burials at the Cathedral of Prague, and at the Paleolithic site of Dmanisi in the Georgian republic.

Since 2002 I have been a PhD student at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History at Uppsala University. I hope to finish soon...
